England. Original colour mezzotint, engraved by J. R. Smith after W. R. Bigg. 1798. Good condition, wear consistent with age and use. 54x41cm. Framed: 70x59cm. DHL shipping only. In the 1782 and 1784 versions of this print, the boy on the side is a young black slave. In the meantime, antislavery sentiment have grown in Great Britain: in the 1798 printing, the young slave became a white houseboy.
